College Years

Transitions are the cornerstone of the stories during Mary Catherine’s college years. She and Andy are moving into new territory as she graduates from Saint Francis and begins a new life as a coed at Stanford.

Amy from Flintridge Prep who crossed paths with Mary a number of times during their prep school years is rooming with Mary Catherine so you know they’ll get into a fair amount of mischief! Shelby from Linden Hills Prep is not too far away at Berkeley, so when the three of them get together trouble takes on a whole new meaning. Mandy and Kristin and a number of other friends from Saint Francis visit from time to time too.

Mary’s definitely growing up and the bratty, endearing little girl is gradually being replaced by a confident, stubborn, but loving woman.

After a lot of soul searching, Andy has chosen to leave Saint Francis and team up with Ted Banks (a mentor of Andy’s) and Tim Downs (former Dean of Flintridge Prep) to start up a software company. Their headquarters are on the northern California coast, close enough to Mary that they can be together as much as possible.

Yes, Andy and Mary Catherine become a couple, but that’s all the hints you’re going to get on what happens next. Andy still spanks Mary frequently if that’s what you’re wondering!
