Junior Year

Mary Catherine’s junior year at Saint Francis is a time of great changes. She’s blossomed quite a bit and is finally starting to catch the eyes of the boys at Saint Seb’s! She starts dating Doug Abbott in the fall term.

She’s become very active in student government, both as the junior class vice president and her class representative on the ASB Honor Council. In the athletic arena she’s really shining and except for math is doing very well in her classes.

Andy’s noticed a change in Mary this year. She’s reached that age when she’s no longer a little girl or bratty teenager . . . there’s an interesting young lady starting to shine through and she’s really starting to grow up. It doesn’t mean she isn’t still the most impulsive girl who ever stood in front of his desk, but Mary Catherine is starting to gradually learn to look before she leaps.

It’s a time of change for Andy too. He’s really grown into the position of Dean and really loves what he’s doing . . . being there for the girls, sharing their lives. It means a lot to him, more than he ever imagined.
